Ben and Ashley Deployment Shoot

One of the things that I really love about being a photographer is how every shoot is different. They each have their own story and I love getting to be a part of that story for a period of time. Take Ben and Ashley, for example.

I get so much joy out of seeing couples that are truly in love, and I could tell that Ben and Ashley were very much in love.

Ben is in the Air Force and is being deployed today, so they wanted to do a photo shoot together so that they would have pictures to carry with them while he’s away, especially since they’ll be spending their 1st anniversary apart during his deployment.

During the shoot a fat orange cat, named Drifter, started following us around and wanted to be in the pictures. He was so cute, so we decided to let him be the star in a few shots!

Ben and Ashley really loved their shoot, and it’s so rewarding when I get positive feedback from clients. Here’s what Ashley had to say about her experience:

“WOW!!!  Thank you so much!!!  I can’t believe the photos are already online, and I love them all!  (Especially the couple with Drifter… what a funny little guy!)  We had so much fun with you, and we will cherish the photos — especially with Ben’s deployment just around the corner.

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

The memories you captured will be a wonderful source of comfort while he is away.

Thanks again!  We can’t wait to work with you again soon!
